A redesign of the branding of an existing cultural institution. The institution chosen was the National Arts Centre located in Ottawa, ON. The logo concept was designed after the architecture of NAC’s Kipnes Lantern which features a hexagonal structure and mimics the building’s interior ceiling structure.

Cosmic themes allude to stars on stage similar to how the walls of the Kipnes Lantern is composed of transparent LED screens to display images of Canada’s artists and productions to be illuminated towards the night’s sky.
